"A must visit place when you are in Alor Setar. It took around 30 minutes from Alor Setar to Kota Kuala Kedah. A heritage for Kedah citizen and Malaysian as a whole. A great place to start in order to appreciate what the independent means. It was unlike visit A famosa fort in Melaka which simbolize the power of the invaders but now you visit a fort built by our own ancestors to protect and rules this land using their own hand. There's a small museum with handfull information about the history of Kota Kuala Kedah. Its a hidden jewel when you visiting Kedah."
