"Just a sign. Nothing much here. But still a good place to 打卡."

"Visited this old sign back in March as the MCO kicked in. As the Malaysians like to say, Taiping is the city of firsts. This sign in old Port Weld is the location of the former Port Weld Railway station that used to link this town with Taiping. Which was also the first railway in Malaysia. The railway link is long gone, but it’s nice to see for a bit of history."

macedonboy

"A remaining of the 1885 Port Weld signage erected by KTM as a remembrance. Not sure if this is actually the original location."
