Reviews Summary

Visitors praise the Biblioteca José María Pino Suárez for its beautiful architecture, peaceful atmosphere, and extensive book collections, making it an excellent spot for reading and studying. While some facilities could be improved and the book-finding system is noted as unintuitive, the helpful staff and overall pleasant experience make it a valuable community resource.

"There are various rooms, for computers, for the visually impaired or blind, and for children. It has plenty of space and good collections. I wish they would improve the facilities; some rooms are closed and spaces are unused. We need to exploit the library's full potential. 🫶 It's a beautiful and peaceful place.
If you get your card, it's valid for one year."

Brisa Laureano

"I went very quickly since I was practicing (I'm from Mexico City), but that was enough to see that it is incredible, it has very beautiful architecture, and it looks very large, I would have loved to visit it for a long time and even more to have it close by."

Ameyalli Guzmán

"I love the library!
Excellent place to relax, get to do your homework, go take private classes or give private classes, great to hang out if that's what you want.
They have computers that you can use for a period of time depending on demand, it has public bathrooms but bring paper in case there isn't any. (Very clean in my experience)
There is a great variety of books.

There is a drawback and that is that sometimes you arrive and look for information on a topic and the computer system that tells you in which aisle the books are located with the description of the topic you wrote is really not very intuitive (The system). it is necessary to ask for help from the staff.

Sometimes the staff themselves are the ones who make noise and that is annoying!
In general the experience is very pleasant.
You can go all day without topics and no one will tell you anything, I have fallen asleep on occasions and wake up again to continue reading.
There are also outlets or plugs where you can connect your electronic devices. There is a place for children, there is an elevator, there is sometimes a vendor in the cafeteria and it is like a mini store where you can buy cookies or water, among other things.
They normally close at 9 PM, except on holidays and Saturdays or Sundays. (These last 2 days it closes a few hours earlier)"
