Reviews Summary
Akchour Waterfalls is a stunning natural escape, praised for its beautiful cascades, refreshing pools, and scenic hiking trails. While the initial area can be crowded, venturing further rewards visitors with tranquility and breathtaking views. Some guests noted issues with accommodation quality and aggressive driving on the approach roads.
"Beautiful spot. Quite touristy to start with, popular with locals and tourists alike. But further up towards the waterfall or Gods bridge tracks the crowd thins out quite a bit.
These are fairly easy tracks with stunning views of the stream, valley, mountains and nature in general around with many tagine and tea restaurant on the way and even more mini falls and pools to dip into for a break. And the "final" waterfall is simply stunning and swim in the pool above or under is refreshing.
Push through the people and police to the further parking lot and then just follow the trail through the valley. We did the waterfalls just under an hour one way with small kids in tow. Brilliant half a day family trip.
If you want a proper hike for a full day or more there is plenty more to explore though. Gods bridge and beyond in the national park. For that you may want to hire a local guide, some were available at the parking lot. Or at least ensure you are well prepped as the trails are of course unmarked and there is no signal in the valleys."

"We hiked up to the last big pool (around 2h20) and it was totally worth it. The trail is surrounded by stunning nature, amazing vibes, and beautiful waterfalls all along the way. It does take effort to get up there, so it’s not for everyone, but if you can make it, you won’t regret it.
We also stopped at the “little waterfall” on the way back and had the most delicious tagine, super tasty, great service, and really fair prices. Honestly, the whole experience was just amazing."

"Nicely refurbished. Wow, when you enter. If staying one night, fair enough. If more, I can not imagine: the quality of plumbing, installations and fixing is just disasterous. Wash basin not fixed, water leaking all the time from shower and closet, smelly sink, some lights not on…. And having spoken to other guests, my room was not the only one. If making treks around in the mountains, I can not imagine being here several days. Pitty."
