Staff at the golf club (where you start the walk) is lovely and so helpful.

Do the drive out to this place you will not be disappointed."

"What a gorgeous course! We played a round for my husband’s birthday and both of us couldn’t stop saying how amazing it was. We saw so many unique birds and deer while playing and the course has a wonderful design to it! Their merchandise is also worth checking out, their logo is perfect!"

Taylor Johnson

"Absolutely stunning spot – one of the most beautiful places I’ve visited in Aotearoa. The water at Hamurana Springs is crystal clear and has this almost otherworldly blue-green glow. Even though it was cold during the day (winter visit!), the walk was peaceful and refreshing – such a great option for a date, a relaxed family outing, or showing off the beauty of NZ to visitors from overseas.

It’s $18 per adult, and you pay at the golf course entrance – the staff there were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The track itself is easy to walk and well maintained, winding through towering redwoods and native bush, with plenty of places to stop and take it all in. Definitely a hidden gem worth visiting!"
