"Absolutely loved the experience here. We went on a week day and practically had the whole place to ourselves. The walk up to the top pools was just fabulous 👌felt like you were in another country (a very tropical feel) well done DoC. The top pools temps were good and the plunge pool was good too! Nice that these pools were tucked away for privacy from tge main pool down bottom. Fantastic and friendly service by Debbie at the office who gives you a thorough run down of the place. Only $20 per adult:-) for as long as you want. Thoroughly recommend stopping if you're popping through this way."

"Best place to relax and enjoy the private pool..help release tight back muscles"

"I visited Morere Hot Springs at around 11 a.m. on a weekday, traveling approximately 40 minutes from Gisborne. Despite it being a weekday, the place was quite crowded.

After paying the entrance fee, we found both a pool area and spa facilities near the entrance. A short 10-minute walk through the forest led us to a secluded spa by the valley. The walk itself was refreshing, with the scent of trees adding to the experience. Although the two small spas there were busy, we joined in and enjoyed relaxing together with others. It was a fantastic experience.

We brought a simple packed lunch, which we shared with the kids. Afterward, we played together in the pool area near the entrance, and it was so much fun!

There are also barbecue facilities available for a fee of $10. I noticed some visitors had set up tents and were having a barbecue. It seems that day camping is allowed and quite flexible there.

Overall, we had a wonderful time at Morere Hot Springs, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable day out with family or friends."
