"Truly an ethereal experience, it would be difficult, bordering on the churlish, to find fault with a brisk hike through sunlight dappled by tree ferns and any number of larger and smaller trees and plants, across bridges and past sparkling pools and ending with a lovely waterfall, cascading over two levels.
Depending on your fitness, you may be a bit tired, but it is worth taking the extra few minutes to ascend and see the falls departing the top of the cascade. Please don't fall off.....
Birds ! Lots of them in the trees; you'll be lucky to spot them, but in any case look out for Tui, Silvereyes, Sacred Kingfishers, and the constant chatter of Grey Gerygones."
