"Our time in Sørvær was extremely special, and as a family we will always remember the beauty and tranquility we experienced during our short 5 day stay. The surroundings are incredible, and so is the experience of getting to share our meals and getting to know the other guests and artists in a warm community setting. It was beautiful to watch our children run free in the gorgeous natural environment. I would highly recommend this as a place to immerse in nature with yourself and your family. Thanks to Margit for hosting us and making it so special! I would recommend this place very highly. I hope we can return some day."

"Except the height of the entrance to the sauna, everything in this place is a perfection. You get to become one with nature. You get to observe the changing force of the ocean. We set ourselves for a weekend of solitude and isolation. We couldn’t be more wrong. The whole experience was about a community. Community of authors, artists, carpenters, rappers, ceos fishing us dinner and villagers 💫 the magic of humanity at its finest. It really nudges that creative soul in you. The common spaces are the focal point of exchanging experiences, thoughts, inspiration. Nothing is planned, yet everything just happens in a natural flow. You need to give in to the rhythm of the mesmerizing Norwegian archipelago. It’s a place of possibilities and it’s up to you what you make of them. It’s a unique glamping experience, where roughness is met with serenity."

"It is difficult to describe how beautiful and wild this island is, and yet how welcoming and warm the hideaway is at the same time. I learned so much, met such interesting and friendly people, and felt completely at home even though I have never been in any place even remotely like this before. If you have a sense of adventure, an independent spirit, and an interest in forging connections with new friends, you will love it here. Bring warm clothes, comfortable waterproof shoes, some wine, and an open heart. You will not be disappointed."
