What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Dumaluan Beach is widely praised as the most beautiful beach in Panglao, offering soft white sand, stunning blue waters, and a peaceful atmosphere. While some visitors note occasional seaweed and plastic debris, the overall experience is highly recommended for relaxation and natural beauty, often preferred over the busier Alona Beach.
"This long, continuous stretch of coastline on Panglao Island — often referred to by different names such as Bohol Beach, Panglao Beach, White Beach, or Dumaluan Beach — is, in fact, one uninterrupted beach extending for several kilometers. The names may change depending on which resort or area you’re near, but it’s all part of the same beautiful shoreline.
The section near Bohol Beach Club is especially attractive and well-maintained. Every morning, resort staff rake the sand, remove seaweed, and clear away any debris brought in by the tide. This care makes it one of the cleanest and most pleasant beaches on the island. The sand is soft, wide, and bright, creating a perfect setting for a morning walk or a quiet day in the sun.
Early in the morning, the beach comes alive with starfish and hermit crabs scattered across the shallow water — a lovely reminder of how rich the local marine life is. It’s a great spot for sunbathing and relaxation, though swimming can be a bit challenging because the water remains shallow for quite a distance from the shore. You’ll need to walk far out before you can fully immerse yourself, but the tranquil atmosphere and the beauty of this long, pristine beach more than make up for it.
The beach is great place to observe sunrise."
