Reviews Summary

Balicasag Island is celebrated for its stunning natural beauty, particularly its crystal-clear waters, vibrant coral reefs, and abundant marine life, including sea turtles and the famous jackfish tornado. Visitors rave about the snorkeling and diving experiences. However, some travelers have expressed dissatisfaction with the local vendors and their business practices, noting rudeness and restrictive dining arrangements.

"Balicasag Island is absolutely stunning! The boat ride from Panglao was smooth, and the moment we arrived, the water was so clear and inviting. Snorkeling here is a must you’ll see colorful corals, schools of fish, and even sea turtles if you’re lucky.

The island itself is small but very charming, with a peaceful vibe. After swimming, we enjoyed fresh seafood cooked right on the island simple but delicious. It can get busy at times, so I recommend going early in the morning for a quieter experience.

A beautiful spot for anyone visiting Bohol, especially if you love the ocean. Truly one of the highlights of our trip!"

"The beauty of Balicasag is real! Bohol did not disappoint us and if you are into snorkeling, definitely this island is a must visit. The only thing that discourages us to come back here is because of the people who has businesses here. They will not allow you to eat anywhere (they you like or if you chose to be in that table) not unless to the store that your tourguide have a contract. It was upsetting and the people are rude or much it was there accent but for us it was a real slap of behavior."

Q Asmbrd

"Balicasag is absolutely stunning. My husband had a great time swimming alongside a turtle, which made the experience even more memorable."
