What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Sipalay Beaches, particularly Sugar Beach, are lauded for their beautiful, clear waters, stunning sunsets, and peaceful, less crowded atmosphere, making them ideal for relaxing holidays. While some visitors note environmental concerns like plastic debris and the presence of jellyfish, the overall experience is highly rated for its natural beauty and swimming opportunities.
"One of the best stops of our island trip. Amazing sunset, beautiful beach and less crowded unlike the Sipalay Poblacion Beach. We stayed at Sugar Lounge and walked around the shoreline checking some other resorts too. No problem with dining experience because there's a lot of options inside the resort restaurants. We loved the fact that there's less people (mostly locals) even if it was a weekend.
The entire experience was the best highlight 😉. 10/10"

"Beautiful beach, quiet & excellent for swimming! I always come back for some relaxing holidays...
Best place to stay: Takatuka Lodge!
Best diving center: Sea-Explorer!
We will come back soon...:-)"

"The LGU charges a P50 environmental fee, but the beach isn't well maintained. There's often plastic rubbish on the shore and floating in the water. Too bad because it's actually a really nice beach."
