What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Praia da Aguda is lauded for its stunning, wild beauty and tranquil, less-crowded atmosphere, offering magnificent ocean views from its iconic cliff stairway and surrounding trails. However, visitors must exercise extreme caution due to the slippery nature of the steps, and the lack of facilities means self-sufficiency is key.
"Beautiful ocean views from the trails up along the cliffs as well as down the steps. But some areas of the steps could be very slippery. So walk with cautions."
Angela Z-Frace
"It has a difficult access by a narrow and dangerous stairway carved into the cliff. For all the rest it is stunning, because it is empty most of the time and stretches for 1 mile to the following beach which is Magoito. On the top where the staircase begins there is a parking and from there you have magnificent hiking trails going both south and north. The north stretch is particularly spectacular because the cliff is quite high at that point and so it commands great views."
Jorge Bernardo
"Nice beach, need to climb down, can be foggy."
