What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about the breathtaking panoramic views, especially for sunrise, and the peaceful, natural setting. Many appreciate it as a less commercial alternative to Sintra's main attractions. Some note the lack of amenities and the potential for trees to obstruct certain photo angles.
"For sure one of the best spots in Lisbon and the closer area to watch the SUNRISE. Beautiful location on the top of the mountain. Right next to a small church. Very quiet. In the middle of nature. And you have a full 270° view. There’s no cafés or anything up here. So make sure to bring some tea or coffee and snacks on your own :-)"

"Nice viewpoint where you can see some of the Sintra palaces and the great landscape. One of the features of the area is the wide variety of trees from around the world. On your way up to this point you may see Eucalyptus from Australia. You may also pass a cork oak tree, whose bark was used to make wine corks. The cork is now used to make all kinds of things like fabric and shoes."

"We found this view point after recomendation from the local girl. We were not interested in commercial tours in Sintra's famous castles, so as an alternative I recomend you to visit this place with amazing view over castles and Liboa city. It's easy to get a Tuk-Tuk/Car from Sintra city and go there. Road si very hilly."
