"One of the most breathtaking sunset spots in Madeira
This place is simply spectacular. If you’re looking for an unforgettable experience in Madeira, come here for sunset. The cliffs rise dramatically above a sea of clouds, and as the sun begins to set, the sky fills with golden, orange, and pink tones—like something out of a painting.
Make sure to arrive at least 1 hour before the official sunset time. You’ll get to enjoy the changing light, watch the clouds roll through the valleys, and find the perfect spot to sit and take it all in. The atmosphere is peaceful and magical—ideal for relaxing and connecting with nature.
Pro tip: bring something warm (it can get chilly as the sun goes down) and maybe a blanket or mat to sit on. You won’t regret it.
A must-see experience in Madeira!"

"Sadly very misty but it was still very cool and we enjoyed the spooky feel of the place covered in mist. We had the mountain top all to ourselves for a little while and encountered just a few other couples in the 30 minutes we were up there enjoying our lunch by the picnic table.
You can park down the street and there are some public restrooms right by the parking. Bring your own toiletpaper."

"Amazing place for sunset!!! Being above the clouds gives a special feeling! There was plenty or parking space. Only a handful of people who were up at the viering point with us."
