What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise Fort Siloso for its historical significance, free entry, and the scenic views from the Skywalk. It's seen as a worthwhile, educational experience that offers a different perspective on Sentosa beyond its typical attractions. Some find the Skywalk a bit pricey, and occasional comments mention that the 'sanitized' nature might reduce its raw historical feel, but overall it's highly recommended for history buffs and view-seekers.
"Fort Siloso is an incredible place to explore, especially if you’re interested in history. The site features well-preserved war archives and exhibits that are very informative and easy to understand, making it a great educational experience. The fort itself is quite picturesque, with paths that are pleasant to walk along. One of the highlights is seeing the old cannons, which are perfectly placed with a beautiful view of the sea. It’s a fantastic combination of history, scenery, and learning."

"Very well thought out free attraction. I haven't been here since I was a kid decades ago, so I didn't remember anything, but as an adult with kids myself, I found it very educational and impressive. The linkage to the Skywalk was very well thought of, the exhibits are lifelike, with awesome descriptions and storytelling of the history of Fort Siloso from before World War 2, to present day."

"This historical exhibition facility on Sentosa Island tells the story of wars in Southeast Asia(Especially in Singapore). The explanations are written in three languages: English, Chinese, and Japanese, making it easy to understand. The exhibits are not simply books on the history of the time, but also include photographs, the war situation in each country, and life-size wax figures of wartime meetings. The entire exhibit is packed with information, so we recommend taking your time to explore(at least 2H). It's easy to climb the mountain toward the fort to see the exhibits, and then walk along the Siloso Skywalk on your way back."
