One of the best things i did in Slovenia was a day trip to Postojna Caves & Predjama Castle. 🐉🏰 I took the bus, which took a little over an hour, and spent most of the day here. You will need to buy tickets in advance for the caves as you can only go in with a tour at a specific time. Predjama Castle doesnt have tour times, but can be purchased in a combined ticket. It has a self guided tour. You...

Reviews Summary

Visitors rave about the Path of Remembrance and Comradeship as Ljubljana's essential green escape, perfect for walks, runs, and bike rides. Its serene natural beauty, even close to the city, is a major highlight, though some note that trail signage could be improved in urban areas.

"The Path of Remembrance and Comradeship (PST) is one of my favorite places in Ljubljana. It’s perfect for a walk with friends or family, and also great for jogging or cycling. The trail goes through forests and meadows, so you’re always surrounded by nature even though you’re close to the city. I love how peaceful it feels, and it’s really well maintained. Definitely one of the best ways to enjoy the outdoors in Ljubljana."

Lara Zabavnik

"Path around Ljubljana. You can do it on foot or by bike. Mostly flat, only to get on Golovec is a short hike."

Maja Stanojevic

"A beautiful, mostly safe and flat trail (except for the 150 m elevation gain on Golovec) around Ljubljana. Let's hope that it will be preserved in the future and better marked in the settlements: Nove Jarše, BS 3, near AMZS, Litostrojska, Šiška to Koseški bajer."
