"We went on the sable ranch hike. Did the 8km trail. Nothing too spectacular but was nice. Quite an ascent in the beginning. A small plateau and then a descent. Nothing too technical. Markings were ok, could be improved on. I did not find the scenery too expansive. There was some game in the beginning of the hike and these adorable baby goats and a whole pen of goats at the end of the hike.
You start in the nobelle village and we ended across the road after a circular route ."

"What a wonderful experience. They have a selection of hiking trail lengths, so you can pick how long and far you'd like to go. I wouldn't consider the trail fit for beginners as there are a few loose stones on the uphills, but the challenge is a lot of fun if you are up to it. There's also a friendly boarder collie that really knows the way, so if you feel lost you can follow the collie :-). Just keep in mind that he will take you on many laps. Just keep in mind that there are ticks, so use tabard on yourself and maybe treat your dogs (for ticks & fleas) a day before going."
