Reviews Summary

Visitors praise the Jeju Five-Day Folk Market for its authentic local atmosphere and incredible bargains on produce and goods. The affordability of food and items like socks and clothing is a major draw. However, parking can be a significant hassle, and summer visits can be uncomfortably hot, leading some to prefer cooler months or indoor exploration.

"The market is indoor, big and sell everything you need. The outdoor has some pretty cherry blossom. You can buy veggies, poultries, plants, seafoods, snacks etc"

Jovan Kun

"It is called 五日市場 in Chinese which means it opens every 5 days, specifically on 2, 7, 12, 17, 22, 27th day of the month.

I parked beside the road and it was not difficult to find a place. We bought some snacks and ate while we were shopping. Price is OK. We wanted to have lunch here but it was summer and we found it too hot to sit there.

I will consider visit again when it is summer."

"Amazing market. Horrible parking, going in an out, but once you have a spot, amazing. Super inexpensive fruits and vegetables and other foods. The Hodduk we got was fantastic. I also got 10 pairs of socks for W10000 ($8), some sweats ($16) and a sweatshirt for $8 also. I heard a lady yelling Jjajangmyun for W5000 ($4) which is crazy. I would go back every time I go to Jeju, since it's right by the airport, but next time I'm bringing an empty suitcase. :)"
