What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise the Jardín de la Marquesa for its magnificent collection of exotic plants and the enchanting presence of free-roaming peacocks, calling it a beautifully maintained and unique spot. While the garden itself is breathtaking, some reviewers note the lack of on-site food and drink options as a minor drawback.
"A beautiful garden with many varieties of cacti, plants, trees, etc. Several peacocks and tortoises. It's a lovely short walk along small gravel paths.Depending on your interests, you can see everything in about 30 minutes. 6 euros and available parking. The Marquesa house can not be visited. The only slight disappointment is that some areas in the garden seem neglected and/or not well maintained."

"Really nice botanical garden, few minutes away from the city by car. The walking road is kind of bad, if you have proper shoes you can try it. There are plenty of parking spaces. The cost is rather small (6 Euro - Oct 25), but we have seen better maintained parks. I think the whole idea is to leave it a bit more wild. Lots of peacocks and roosters, they did not bother us. I think around 30-40 minutes are ideal to wander. You get a map after you pay the ticket. Clean toilet. Enjoy!"

"Magnificent! The variety of flowers, trees, and cacti is truly impressive. The garden is beautifully maintained, and everywhere you look there’s something unique to see.
Peacocks wander freely through the park, adding a charming and colorful touch to the experience. The historic house in the middle of the garden makes it feel even more special.
It’s a peaceful place to stroll, admire exotic plants, and enjoy nature. Definitely worth a visit if you’re nearby!
The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is that there was no option to get food or drinks in the park. So make sure to bring your own"
