For Different Travelers
Tailored advice for your travel style
👨👩👧 Families with Kids
For families with budding golfers, the course's reputation for being 'neither too challenging nor too easy' might make it accessible for older children or teens interested in trying a round. However, it's important to note that it is a championship course, so younger children might find it less engaging unless they are keen golfers. The halfway house snacks are also a hit with kids.
💰 Budget Travelers
To make it more budget-friendly, consider visiting during the shoulder seasons or looking for twilight rates if available. Dining at the halfway house for a baguette and coffee is a more economical option than a full meal at the restaurant. Exploring the surrounding Crans-Montana area for accommodation can also help manage overall trip expenses.
📸 Photography Enthusiasts
Aim for the 'golden hours' – early morning or late afternoon – for the most dramatic lighting that accentuates the landscape's textures and colors. A wide-angle lens is ideal for capturing the vastness of the scenery, while a telephoto lens can bring distant peaks into sharp focus. Remember to check club policies regarding drone usage if you're considering aerial shots.
