"To look at this site where our brave diggers landed and fought against the Turks, it is no wonder we lost so many during this war.
It is such a touching place to visit, especially in a small group without the pomp and ceremony.
You can see, feel and smell the history here. Very touching."

"A very touching place where ANZAC dawn service is held annually on 25 April. It marks the first major military action by Australian and NZ forces in 1915. Many soldiers died, especially young soldiers died in this war.
Entry is free but one needs vehicle or tour bus to get here. Walking around the gentle sloping area is easy but need walking shoes for unpaved areas"

"If you’re an Australian then I highly recommend visiting Anzac Cove. It gave a perspective of what our soldiers had to endure. It’s also a really beautiful spot to just sit and reflect on life."
