What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about Tham Lod Cave as a stunning hidden gem in Northern Thailand, often calling it a highlight of their trip. The unique bamboo raft journey through the ancient cave, combined with the warm hospitality of the Lahu hill tribe and breathtaking mountain views, creates a memorable experience. Some note the challenging drive and limited food options late in the day.
"Stopped by for a drink. But we reached after 4pm where most shops selling food were closed. Still managed to get our Thai milk tea. Took some photos along the free platform overseeing the mountains. Nothing really special about this place. The road is very narrow. Most will stay not more than an hour after a long drive. The cafe we drank at had some decorations to take photos."

"If you plan to go to from Mae Hong Son to Pai or vice versa , give time for a little bit detour to this village. They have plenty of coffee shops with a view, and the view is definitely amazing. But of you have plenty of time, you can stay in this village as they have also some accommodations."

"Had it all for my self, amazing view and a cozy village. What a view, grab a coffee and sit for a while soaking it all in."
