Wat Rong Khun or White Temple in Chiang Rai, Thailand
The murals on the inside (which you aren’t allowed to photograph) are especially intriguing. Lots of apocalyptic, fire and brimstone imagery, with random pop culture references. Also the pit of hands reaching up (kind of visible in pic #10) is nightmare fuel.
🍽️ Restaurant Recommendation
Don't miss the restaurant! Visitors rave about the food, service, and beautiful views. 🍴

The gallery is small, expect to spend about an hour viewing the art. :stopwatch:
Stopped at Wat Rong Khun temple in Chiang Rai, Thailand on our way to the Golden Triangle (Myanmar, Laos and Thailand). It was both beautiful and bizarre.
There is nothing religious or authentic about this temple. Inside they have paintings of 9/11 on the walls and sculptures of predator. http://mos.moshehwebservices.com/~orenl/wp-content/uploads/2014/04/white-temple-chiang-rai-predator.jpg…
