It was fortunate to have taken a trip up Mae Salong. The journey from Chiang Rai took us almost an hour, traveling about 35 km along some rugged mountain roads with sharp bends to get to this place. It was indeed exciting to see some things that were still new to me.
Wat Phra That Santitham, built among the scenic hills of Mae Salong, Chiang Rai, is definitely a peaceful sanctuary for me, with no crowds at all. The spiritual vibes are so strong, and the enriching calmness that I felt is worth traveling to this destination. I consider myself very lucky to be able to visit this place. This simple yet elegant temple is set amidst a chedi and lots of lush greenery, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and valleys, making it a perfect spot for both spiritual reflection and nature lovers. If you're a tea lover, then it's even better.
