What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
SACICT Bang Sai Royal Crafts Center is praised for its tranquil atmosphere and the impressive display of Thai artisan talent, offering high-quality crafts at reasonable prices. Visitors appreciate the peaceful riverside zone and the opportunity to see traditional artistry. However, some find the lack of souvenir options beyond crafts and limited cultural demonstrations a drawback, and transportation can be inconvenient.
"This venue offers a tranquil and peaceful environment away from the main road's hustle and bustle. The large space is divided into various sections, providing a variety of settings to explore.
A highlight is the riverside zone, which boasts scenic canal views. This area offers a chance to relax and unwind from the city's energy.
While the venue lacks local crafts or Thai products for purchase as souvenirs, it caters well to groups with its ample parking space.
It would be beneficial if the venue offered opportunities to learn about Thai culture or see demonstrations of traditional product creation. This could enhance the overall experience for visitors interested in cultural immersion.
Overall, the venue provides a serene escape from the city with a spacious layout and a scenic riverside area. However, souvenir options and cultural experiences are currently limited."

"Tremendous place, not crowded and can often give you the impression that there is not much to see inside but, this is a fantastic place and showcases the outstanding talent of Thai artisans. Suggest that you call the place and check to see whether it is open at the time and on the day that you want to visit.
A lot more to see than just what is shown in the images that I have posted here. Check out with the staff, there is a way to enter the back area where you could actually see craftsmen and women, making some of these amazing items.
You could visit this place and then move on to the famous temples and temple ruins at Ayuthaya."

"A huge center where Thai artisan exhibit and sell their traditional handicraft, art, clothing, and accessories. The stores are neat, modern, and well put together. Prices are reasonable.
The surprise to me was how empty the place was around 2 pm on normal working day. The location between Ayutthaya and Bangkok, and not being very close to either may have played a role.
It is worth a stop if interested in Thai artisan products."
