"Very beautiful museum.
The fact that I was all alone in the museum made it even more special.
The museum gives an good overview of the opium trade, use, and terrible side effects of it.
Well done."

"So there are 2 museums in the area about opium. The other is in walking distance of the golden triangle.
This one is MUCH bigger and takes you on a complete journey through the past. There’s a few interactive things but you will learn ALOT.
It says they close at 3:30, but that’s just last ticket. Inside closes at 4:30 and there’s a shuttle bus waiting at the exit for you to drive you back to your car."

"Anyone who makes the effort to visit the golden triangle, must visit this great place to learn more about the history of one of the world’s most infamous trades (Opium trade). Entrance fee is THB 120 for locals and foreigners. Great display of images, artifacts, audio and video in different languages, as well as a large collection of different items relating to the production, transport, trading around the world, opium trade wars, addiction and effects, and eradication.
Highly recommended for educational purposes."
