Not for the Claustrophobic :woman_shrugging:

The tour includes crawling through a narrow tunnel. If you're uncomfortable in tight spaces, this tour might not be for you. Instagram

The Balcony House Tour at Mesa Verde is no joke. There are two ladders you have to climb up. The first one is over 60ft tall! This is the second one that you use to get back up to the top of the cuesta (Mesa Verde actually isn’t a Mesa FYI). I loved the Cliff Palace Tour as well, but I liked Balcony House better because it’s more adventurous. Still very accessible. I had a severe grade 2 sprain on...

The ranger-led experience is highly valued for its educational content and safety guidance. While the physical demands are significant, most find the experience exhilarating and unforgettable.

"What an incredible place, made even more special by Sheena (I hope that I’m spelling that right, I’m going Sheena Easton!) and all her knowledge.

So many details and beautiful pieces of furniture. The dining room was stunning. My boyfriend and I feel so lucky to have been able to see this time capsule and tread the same boards as Ian Fleming and Ernest Hemmingway.

Thank you Sheena this was truly a highlight of our short trip to Nassau, and we wish you all the very best!"

"Stopped by the Balcony House Museum during our time in Nassau. Considered to be the oldest wooden house in Nassau, this place has a wonderful story and feel to it. Our guide taught us a great deal about the history of the house. We really enjoyed our time. Definitely donate a few dollars so they can keep this historic building around."

Colton Stephens

"The Balcony House is so beautiful! I've had a special private tour through the house with very nice and knowledgeable tour lady guide, a lots of history, loved the stairs, the chandelier, original furniture, bedrooms, dining room and lots of tiny details. Was enjoying the time I spent here.
Thank you!"
