The free entry and open hours are significant draws, making it a delightful, peaceful stop. Some reviews mention family-friendly garden activities and a tea room, extending the appeal.

"Quite the find on the way back to the car from Beeston Bump. Atmospheric ruins of a Medieval priory that are clearly well maintained and free to visit. Open from dawn to dusk.

Very quirky how what was once the cloister is today incorporated as the walled garden of the private house bordering it.

We spent a good 20 mins looking around the site piecing together an idea of what life might have been like here back in its day with the place all to ourselves."

Matt Harris

"Lovely gardens with a tropical feel to them in places, with lots of tree ferns. A maze, quiz and small slides for the children. Nice tea room with outside seating. We spent about 4 hours here."

Becky Shores

"Nice place to wander around for a few minutes on a nice day. No entry fee."
