"I love buying from Quex Barn Farm Shop, because I can be sure of the quality of what I buy. It may be quite pricey, but I treat myself from time to time. The butcher is absolutely fabulous and I have never had anything less than top quality meat. The deli counter is equally brilliant, with superb cheeses and other things. I recently bought a small white loaf because I really wanted bacon sandwiches, and can honestly say it's the best bread I have had in a long time."

If you are looking for quality, variety, exceptional customer service - this IS the place to come!
Not only has the place got a fish monger, butcher, deli & cheese counter, it has a pizza parlour and a lovely café as well as a wide range of homemade frozen food and a little pet corner outside.
The staff here are exceptional and very helpful.
The food on sale, especially on the fresh side of things is expensive, for example a scotch egg is £2.75, however, it isn't a supermarket scotch egg!
The products we purchased were of the highest quality and they are well worth the extra £!
The staff were brilliant, certainly worth shouting about especially the young lady on the deli / cheese counter today who was so nice.

"We went to have lunch onTuesday 23 Sept 2025. We both had fish & chips and pot of for two. Sadly the fish & chips were awful.The fish really over cooked and was such a small portion and the chips weren't chips, they were sliced potato half cooked and swimming along side of the fish in oil that tasted old? We have eaten here before and it's been OK but this time it was bad and at £18 + a head not the cheapest thing on the menu best avoided in my opinion."
