good/quiet places to run near the elm grove area?
I hate running where loads of people can see me (e.g. the level, seafront etc). Can anyone recommend any good fields or woods near Elm Grove? :)
🤫 Quiet Contemplation
A good place for quiet reflection, but be aware of its primary purpose as a burial ground.

What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Hove Cemetery is described as a well-kept, secure, and peaceful place for remembrance. Visitors appreciate the distinct atmospheres of its two sites, with the southern Victorian section offering a more engaging, Gothic ambiance for strolls, while the northern section provides a simpler, quiet space. Some visitors may need guidance to locate specific graves.
"Reviewing a cemetery, to wax prose on the dolorous realm of Thanos, might seem to be morbid, macabre even. Not so, I think, for a cemetery is both a public space and amenity, offering a service we might require for ourselves only once but, assuredly, one executed with competence and dignity at the minimum.
Hove Cemetery is split into two sites, facing one another across the Old Shoreham Road. The southern site is Victorian and hence the older of the two; the northern site is a Twentieth century extension of the original site.
The Cemetery is a pretty simple affair, don’t expect anything other than simple headstones in North and, at most, modest Victorian statuary in South. South is more enjoyable for a stroll because of the Gothic atmosphere and, be warned, North is an occasional spot for rough sleepers to congregate and also sleep."

"My aunt has recently been buried in north section her name is lucette Forrest I have yet to find the grave because her son and I do not get on sadly so I wasnt allowed to the funeral which has upset me greatly. I do not know my way round the cemetary yet but I shall visit and I want to get a head stone when it able to be done. Any guides out there I would appreciate it. Thank you"
