Occasional mentions of seasonal dog restrictions and the quiet nature of the resort are noted.

"Great Dog-Friendly Beach.
Small resort, very quiet. If you're wanting pubs, bingo, amusements...well, there are a few but it's not overrun with them. Took a walk u country lanes and paths to Anderby Creek and back down the beach - peaceful, and the dog enjoyed himself. Without hordes of noisy windbreak-wielders it's perfect for a quiet walk - or energetic ball-chasing."
