Every rock has an incredible story! The Kimmeridge clays at Chapman's Pool in Dorset give me an existential moment when I can see how the sea is undoing its own work that it laid down 160 million years ago. Mindbending! "Stunningly beautiful view, there is a path from the memorial car park. Can be very windy. This is on the south coast path route and easy to navigate. In the summer it’s very beautiful full of different species of butterflies lots of birds including Meadow pipits, Linnets and rock nesting birds. Also, you can see peregrine falcons and buzzards that have an unusual behaviour and will hunt and hover over the sea."
