The afternoon tea was delicious and the Mill tour was really interesting. The person who conducted our tour was knowledgeable and answered all of our questions and really brought the history of the Corn Mill and local area alive.

One of our group couldn't join us and there was an instant offer made to box up her afternoon tea to take home for her to have later.

Starting on the top floor our guide explained how the grain progressed through the building to the stones on the ground floor where it is milled. As we made our way down each floor had its own story to tell, from rat catchers to chalk added to the flour."
