The Huntington is one of my favorite places to go when you just need a relax, get out of the city, clear your mind and just be one with nature. It’s so big and beautiful and you can honestly be there all day just sitting and relaxing in nature with the animals and, the different atmosphere that they have throughout the establishment. I think admission is $25 per person and honestly that’s really c...

We were out doing the adder survey at Kingley Vale National Nature Reserve again today. Pleasantly cooler than last month and definitely less hayfevery. Lots of brambles to press through ( hence my long trousers) but also lots of lovely smells from oregano, lemon catnip ( at least that's what Google lens suggested for a lemony plant that wasn't lemon balm) and mint in amongst the grass. No adder...

"A pleasant walk, with a well marked track up from the car park to the start of the trail. It's 3/4 of a mile to the area and there is no cover if it's wet. There's a welcome seat at the start of the trail and a museum hit that gives you some interesting information. The path to the ancient Yews is well marked until you are on that part of the wood. You are left to work out the route through the area."

"A breath taking nature reserve, in every sense, the views above Chichester & seeing the sea at Bognor are a delight, plus it is 676 feet above sea level with a steep incline

The path from the car park to nature reserve is a few minutes away, no bikes through the woods, but they have their own pathway around it, perfect for walking (with dogs)

For a decent spot in the carpark, best get there early as it fills up quickly"
