"A unique experience which makes you feel incredibly lucky and special. It isn’t cheap (to say the least) but it is wonderful from start to finish! We went the whole hog and dressed up in formal attire which made the whole day seem really special (most people did the same). We were lucky to be with friends who bought afternoon tea and dinner during the (90 minute) interval which just added to the occasion!
If you have an opportunity to go the. I would encourage you to go for it if at all possible."

"5 stars for use as an under-30, getting cheap (for opera) tickets in the middle of the stalls. Great production with fantastic vocalists and musicians. The house and grounds are of course lovely, and made better when you bring your own food and drink and relax with friends. Certainly something to experience at least once!"
Matt Ward
"It is somewhat weather dependent, but if you are fortunate to have warm dry weather then a visit to the opera at Glyndebourne is a very special experience. The gardens are beautiful, take an indulgent picnic to enjoy and you will have a memorable time even if you are not a real opera fan."
