Reviews Summary

Visitors praise the Hastings Fishermen's Museum for its free entry and the fascinating insights into the town's maritime heritage. The accessible fishing boat and the impressive 1514 ship model are frequently highlighted as major attractions. While some find it small, the engaging displays and friendly staff make it a worthwhile stop for understanding local culture.

"It's only a small little place but it was amazing to see the boat indoors and also to be able to go on deck. There is so much information about the shit from the day it was built to the day it was donated to the fisherman's museum. This is a great place to visit if your ever in Hastings."

"A charming museum packed with local history. The museum is small, one large room and a smaller one off to the side, but it really packs a lot of exhibits in. There's a really strong emphasis on reflecting the local history of Hastings and it makes for a great companion visit along with the Museum and Gallery on the other side of town. It's free to enter as well, though well worth a donation to keep it running!"

"Lovely little free museum (donations welcome) with lots of interesting and quirky exhibits about the the historic fishing industry in Hastings"
