Going to start a new bodybuilding regime in the next week which involves getting a lot of steps in, I live right on the seafront by South Parade Pier. Obviously the seafront is a good option but I will definitely get bored doing that multiple times a day, are there any other…

Do you have a hidden gem of Portsmouth you’re willing to share with your fellow pomponians?
Cheeky little walk along Hilsea Lido now has a nice little cafe which serves decent food and coffee and has a watersports wakeboarding area opposite. Salt cafe (just outside portsmouth) has two insane tucked away venues - one is hidden opposite port Solent in a yachting area…

What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise Hilsea Lines and Foxes Forest as a hidden gem for its peaceful atmosphere, scenic views, and dog-friendly nature. While the historic fortifications and woodland trails are highlights, some find the food offerings at the local cafe to be bland, suggesting coffee and cake are better choices.
"I regularly visit here for a coffee and scoot 12 miles to do so. I love the coffee and its a very friendly and nice place to sit and relax for a while. Sometimes there is activities going on and sometimes just music but i like the ambience. They gave me a reward card, I wish they had given me one when I first visited I would of filled it by now! The food is good and I cannot recommend this place enough. Thanks guys"

"If you are looking for somewhere to chill for having a coffee after a walk and enjoy the view, then this is your first choice! The view is amazing, the staff are nice, but unfortunately the food was not what I was expecting, the sandwiches were bland and the soup was a tasteless, canned Heinz or cheaper version. Seen people having coffee and cake and that sounds a better choice."

"Stopped by here with a friend, whilst walking around the western sea wall, got the last parking slot at the lido car park as well.
It was a hot day so the refreshments were welcome. Good service my friend said her coffee was excellent, I had a can and one of their oat fruit bakes, yummy.
I do recommend this place to my Southsea caravans guests as a hidden area for dog walks."
