"Have been a patient here for years. Such a shame that it is now so difficult to get an appointment. There is no continuity with regards to doctors and if you're lucky to get an appointment, you are essentially a stranger each time you go.
You can't get through at 8am when the phone lines open. You are told that you can attend at 8am to make an appointment in person, but even then, due to the limited number of appointments available (lack of actual doctors) i have had times where I have attended at 8am and by the time I am seen, all appointments have gone. It seems a totally ridiculous way to run a doctor's surgery. The nurse practitioner is abrupt and rude and acts like the cost of a prescription comes out of her own pocket. When told that there were a couple of things that needed to be mentioned to her ( due to having had to wait a good few weeks to get an appointment) she responded by saying that she only had time to discuss one thing!!!
Roisin the practice nurse is lovely and the most helpful member of staff at the surgery, and also seems to be the most overworked staff there too. The reception staff are generally as helpful as they can be but without actual doctors to see patients, the surgery would seem to be struggling."
