It's highly recommended to combine a visit with the adjacent Llandaff Cathedral for a more complete experience. While small, it offers a tranquil escape and is appreciated for its accessibility and scenic beauty.

"Small little green area surrounded by old ruins. It isn't worth a visit to only come here, so I would recommend tagging onto a visit to the cathedral or Llandaff more generally. It can be a nice place to sit with a picnic in sunny weather."

Ellie Brodie

"Very small garden inside the ruins of the old bishops Palace. Very close to Llandaff Cathedral and Llandaff weir, which makes for a lovley walk. Free parking nearby infront of the Cathedral."

Tamara Lyons

"Lovely, peaceful little garden set in the remains of the Old Bishop’s Palace, next to Llandaf Cathedral. You can hear lots of birdsong and forget you’re in the middle of a city.

There’s plenty of benches for a rest and when the weather’s nice, it’s a suntrap here. There’s a lawn in the middle and trees next to the old palace walls.

This is one of the more historical places to visit in Cardiff. The rest of Llandaf village is nice to visit with the Cathedral and its cafes, restaurants and pubs."
