"Had an amazing afternoon here. Walked from car park to Atlantic College. Fortunate that there was a Marie curie cake stand at the lifeguard station to help fuel the walk. Plenty of free parking and toilets available. Highly recommend and the walk to the College was lovely"

"Being quite critical of the beauty and available services of any Beach, we keep on voting new Beaches whenever we visit an Island or a beach town. ✨️
We went from Central Cardiff to this beach and reached in 40 mins (the road was a typical British narrow winding road, esp for the last 15 mins.
I wasn't expecting too many services , let alone a proper Vintage-style restaurant (look at the video I shared !!!)
We enjoyed the PICTURESQUE view, the sea breeze and a yummy blueberry lemon cake and hot chocolate in the restraunt with vintage paintings.
The beach was rocky at one side and sand at the other making it a perfect combination for not just families but also for dog-walkers and SURFERS.
After wave-watching we went into the restraunt, got us cappuccino, hot chocolate and a blueberry lemon cake to keep the energies up. I found the restraunt very beautiful with vintage decor honestly, but it seemed like they were in the process of renovations (which i don't think was necessary... it was perfect the way it was (not modern but beautifully unique and 2 century old-styled vintage)
I'd definitely recommend anyone who's confused about visiting beaches Wales ( because there are so many of them)
Hope my review helped. 🤍I would like to share your experience with me also ) ✨️"

"Great secluded beach mostly rocky but also sand at low tide.
Good sized main car park and a larger overflow in the field next to it.
Lifeguard on duty when I was there in July 2025 located at the life saving club on site.
Café and shop on site but this ONLY takes CASH!
Multiple walking, hiking and biking routes around the area.
There is a map showing the pathways for the East and West loops and the sights you can expect to see.
East is the nature reserve where you can expect to see a multitude of wildlife and West you will see more historical farm buildings and flats lands.
For longer walks hikes or bikes the Wales coastal path passes through here, East and West.
East is up a steep more rugged path and leads on through farmers fields.
West has man made concrete steps leading to the top where there are a few benches scattered around to take in the views.
Following on West there are 2 WW2 lookout bunkers one before and one after Tresilian Bay Beach. One also on the beach at Tresilian Bay.
The views from both the cliff tops are spectacular.
If you decide to bike please be aware there are rocky beaches, steep drops, rooted woodland, kissing gates, step walls and many long steps along the Wales Coastal path up and down to the west when you get to the start/top of Tresilian Bay, however if you want to just bike in this area you can cycle up by following the East loop short cut back inland from the car park along the river and pick up the West loop onto the fire road that leads back to the coast."
