What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Longridge Fell offers rewarding panoramic views from its summit and a unique, albeit boggy, forest experience. While many enjoy the natural beauty and mountain biking opportunities, some visitors are disappointed by litter and dog waste, urging others to respect the countryside.
"Good walk and views when at the trig point. A lot of trees down across the path early March 23 so lots of scrambling and finding our way on the way back down.
Our cocker loved it, very disappointed with the lack of respect for the countryside, the trail up was littered with poo bags. Surely if you take the time to pick it up and tie the bag you can take it home with you. Totally baffles me that people are that lazy and think other people should clean up after them non the less a good walk even with the rain we had"

"Lovely walk up but was eaten alive when walking up to the top by flys and no dog bins so there alot of dog poo and pile of filled dog poo bags at the start. Once past all that its an amazing view."
Calam Walmsley
"This place is very beautiful. Take the forest path up from car park on Birdy brow. Continue all the way through to top of Longridge fell. On reaching the top, after taking in the views, climb over the stone wall styal, turn left and pick up path through dense trees. This is spectacular as parts are very waterlogged causing the trees to contort however, accessible. This part of the world needs rediscovering by everyone."
