The beautiful labyrinth garden and the unique architecture are also frequently highlighted as positive aspects, offering a sense of peace and reflection. While the center's primary function is support, its design and surroundings contribute to a comforting experience.
"One of the first Maggies centres to open. The architect here was Frank Gehry although the final building looked to me like Gehry heavily watered down by local planning officers. Interestingly there's a model of Gehrys original design in the V&A and that is far more spectacular than the actual building. Still I mustn't lose sight of what Maggies is for and that's certainly not to entertain me. The building is a bit of a pig to get to by bus and it's quite easy to get lost in the sprawling mass of the neighbouring hospital."
