Lovely views of the old mill and other historic buildings."

"A tranquil place to have a stroll, with or without a dog. Especially when the sun is shining. There is a rocky foot path that takes you halfway around the reservoir. You can either double back on yourself . Or you will end up walking around the perimeter on the road."

"Beautiful scenery and an unexpected track! We had just parked up to Enjoy the resorvior until we noticed a gate with a small ‘public pathway’ sign.
In our journey we experienced various types of terrain, some more pleasant than others. Do be warned of the muddy swamps (I had gone in with wrong footwear 👟!). Strangely it hasn’t rained this week but still much slipperiness and nearly slipped on the mud a good few times.
On the the way we witnessed many beautiful creatures including 3 beautiful black horses, they were young aswell, we walked very close to them but they were not startled which was nice. Also many swans 🦢, even a rabbit or maybe it was a squirrel 🐿! And then a few ducks having a swim.
Overall a good experience a nice rounded track.
Good for a day out and getting your kids toughened up 💪!"
