Reviews Summary

Visitors find the Pendine Museum of Land Speed to be a surprisingly engaging and informative experience, especially given its reasonable entry fee and reusable ticket policy. The star attraction, 'Babs', and the historical context of Pendine Sands are consistently praised, making it a worthwhile stop for car enthusiasts and families alike.

"Whilst Pendine Sands are rightly famous there isn't a lot to see or do there unless there is a special event on.

The museum adds to the sands beautifully. A very interesting and informative place at a reasonable price where you can easily spend an hour indulging your love of fast cars. And see Babs. There are a few exhibits, plenty of information and interactive things for the kids.

Well worth a look."

Jon Case

"Really interesting and informative museum.
We were lucky to see "Babs" the infamous land speed record car there too.
Definitely worth a visit, especially if you're interested in cars/ motorcycles."

Hefin Richards

"21/7/25: £7.50 entry fee but you can use and reuse it throughout the day you visit. It’s not particularly large a place and has relatively few exhibits but it gives you a good sense of the endeavours of the brave or even sometimes foolhardy who venture to go beyond the limits of others and their machines."
