"Fantastic wake board experience, staff very friendly and helpful, cafe food and drinks good quality. Outside seating clean comfortable and a super cool place to go and spend some time. The scenery is gorgeous. Im sure we will return many times after such a great time there."
Michael Hornby
"Absolutely loved it !! Definitely worth a visit. We paid for paddle boarding however my partner also tried a kayak. We were pretty much left to our own devices on the water. Took a picnic. No shower however, (otherwise would have rated 5 star) this is an issue for some people especially if you have a long journey home. There's a changing facility though. We will definitely be returning soon!"

Mastering Wakeboarding: Tips for Beginners
Even if you opt out of a lesson, be prepared for a challenging but rewarding experience. The cable system pulls you around the lake, and mastering the initial pop-up is key. Don't be discouraged by falls; they are part of the learning process. The staff are generally described as nice and helpful, so don't hesitate to ask for tips if you're struggling.
Remember that wakeboarding is a full-body workout. You'll be using muscles you might not typically engage, so be prepared for some soreness afterward. Staying hydrated is also essential, especially on warmer days.
The Inflatable Adventure Park: Fun for All
While incredibly enjoyable, be aware that this attraction is quite physically demanding. Many reviewers mention it's 'tough going' and that you 'expect to feel like you've had a workout.' This is due to the constant effort required to navigate the slippery, unstable surfaces and climb back up after falling off. It's recommended for children aged approximately 8 years and upwards, depending on their confidence and physical ability.
It's a great way to cool off and burn energy, providing hours of entertainment. The visual appeal of the colorful inflatables against the lake backdrop also makes for fun photos.
Beyond the Cables: Kayaking and Relaxation
Visitors have noted that when engaging in these activities, they were 'pretty much left to our own devices on the water,' allowing for a relaxed and independent experience. This freedom is perfect for those who want to paddle at their own speed, perhaps with a picnic, and simply soak in the atmosphere. The cafe also provides a comfortable spot to relax, with clean seating areas and good quality food and drinks available.
While the park focuses on water sports, the overall environment is designed to be a pleasant place to spend time. The gorgeous scenery contributes to a relaxing ambiance, making it a well-rounded destination for both active adventurers and those looking for a peaceful day out.
