"Incredible place, with a profound sense of peace and contentment.
The Shrine of St Winefred is a place where miraculous healings take place. There is the chance to dip into the healing spring waters.
There is a quaint and lovely little gift shop where Rosary beads, holy water, statues, prayer cards, candles and so much more can be bought.
The staff are very kind and welcoming too.
There is also a lovely little museum which has relics of the one True Cross Jesus was crucified on.
There are relics of St Oliver Plunkett, Pope St Pius X, St John Vianney, and St Therese of Liseiux.
A truly profound, and incredible place of peace, healing and tranquility."

"Visited today lovely peaceful place. Very cheap entrance fee. Lots of religious gifts and a little museum with information about the shrine. Very nice staff. Shrine it's self gets opened at 11.00. people are free to bathe clothed there is a place to dry off in changing rooms . I soaked my feet in the sacred healing water as I have a sore foot . Definitely worth a visit for some mindfulness can't wait to return"

"A beautiful and atmospheric place, St Winefride’s Well is steeped in history and legend, often called the “Lourdes of Wales.” The Gothic chapel over the spring is stunning, and the water still flows into a star-shaped basin and outdoor bathing pool where pilgrims can immerse (in modest clothing) but at the time it was no other pilgrims but us so pleace was really quiet and kind of magical. The small museum and shop add context, and entry is very affordable at just a couple of pounds. Above the shrine, there is a bigger church however it was closed. Whether you come for faith, curiosity, or heritage, the site has a peaceful, spiritual quality that makes it well worth a visit."
