Nice gardens and house, with so much history.
Tours of the house need to be booked but are worth doing, takes about an hour, you can always book and come back for the allocated time, plenty of places to go and see while you wait.
Really knowledgeable guides Elaine & Barbara, lots of information and interesting back stories.
Cafe and toilets on site, and the treasurer's house is right in the centre of York next to the Minster."
