Reviews Summary

Visitors praise the Marina District for its beautiful Art Deco architecture, picturesque waterfront views, and vibrant social scene. The abundance of trendy shops and diverse dining options are major draws. However, parking can be a significant challenge, and some find the area can get crowded, especially on weekends.

"The best thing about the Golden Nugget is the marina. The staff is amazing and always willing to help. Things are constantly being fixed and maintained. Full service marina even in the off-season. By far the best place to stop by on the upper east coast.

The casino itself is kept clean with lots to do. Sadly not many interesting events but the restaurants are some of the best in center of the city. The boardwalk is also worth a visit. If you're docked at the marina, you can take the Jitney which stops right outside the marina and you can go to any part of the city for just a few dollars."

"We are boating the Great American Loop, started in Savannah. So far Farley State Marina has been the worst dockage we experienced.

1. Upon our arrival conditions windy, strong current plus boat with only a bow thruster. We called but no deck hand assistance.
2. Docks are worn and unkept with weeds.
3. Security gates kept open due to faulty lock.
4. Highest dockage rate with least amount of amenities.
5. Marina office personnel not helpful."

Dave Nunn

"Stayed here a few nights in September 2018. Overall this is a nice marina that has much to offer. The docks. Floating and from what I saw all wood but in good shape. The bathrooms for boaters were clean and big, with ample shower stalls and laundry. It was off season so the ships store was closed and the pool the marina guests have access to for free but that's would be a nice bonus in season. They sell Valvtect fuel and its self service 24/7. Overall happy and would stop again for sure. Only down side besides the restaurants at the casino not much else is walkable. Please give a thumbs 👍up if this review or photos were helpful."
