Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise the Wild Gardens of Acadia for its beautifully curated native plant collections and the accessible Jesup Path boardwalk. Many appreciate the educational aspect with well-labeled species and the opportunity to see diverse biomes. While some note it's on the smaller side, the gardens are considered a delightful and informative stop within Acadia National Park.
"We visited the Wild gardens of Acadia early in the morning even before opening time and we walked the Jesup path. We really enjoyed the walk and saw a bull frog and a porcupine. We initially went to the left and the path ended at a lake that was covered in fog and looked beautiful. Then we retraced our steps and went in the other direction and came to the boardwalk surrounded by grass on either sides. There is a paid area to visit where we can view samples of all the wild plants and flowers that grow around the national park. Parking is easily available and I would definitely recommend a visit to the wild gardens when in Acadia."

"Loved it! The different biomes are separate in their own little areas. Everything is well labeled! The nature center is open 9-5 and the gardens close at 6. Definitely recommend if you like knowing about the plants around you."
Sydnie Counley
"We visited in late September so the garden was starting to wind down, but the trails were flat and level which was a welcomed change after hiking 5 peaks in the park! More beautiful scenery!"
