What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Deep Run Park is a beloved free community spot offering lake access, paved trails, and playgrounds. Visitors appreciate the park's amenities and natural beauty, though some note that the beach can be crowded and rocky, and parking is limited during peak times. Overall, it's a great value for a day of outdoor recreation.
"Nice little place if you don't wanna pay to use the canandaigua beach. Definably further out and we always have a good time there. There's parking, bathrooms, and a few tables and grills.
Only 3 stars because it's kinda a small area And if it's busy parking area is not super big. Swimming areas are roped off for 2 swimming areas but only one side is ever open so again if it's busy swimming area is crowded as well. Also. A lot of sea weed."
My Life
"Free Beach on Canandaigua Lake. Nice place to bring your kids. I am disappointed they took out the playground. They did add sand to the beach, making it a lot nicer. I would still use water shoes in the water because of rough rocks. I feel like I'm on vacation here. They have picnic tables with a few in the shade. Charcoal grills are provided. Bathrooms open when life guards are on duty. This beach isn't as busy as the main beach."
Heather K The Traveling Mom
"I love this little beach. Guarded, restrooms, but nothing else. Nobody is ever there and that's PERFECT."
